Founded by husband-and-wife team Micah and Kayla Perkins in 2020, we've grown from a startup into Papillion's trusted HVAC company. We're backed by 15 years of hands-on experience and a commitment to doing every job right—not just fast. How BreezeTech Came to Be
When Micah and Kayla were newly married, their hearts were set on mission work. Micah was a musician with dreams of the recording industry. As their family grew, they realized meaningful work and steady support had to go hand-in-hand. That realization shifted their path toward a purpose they could live out daily.
Micah pursued HVAC with the same intentionality he brought to music. He earned his contractor's license and spent years in hands-on work, building expertise that would one day serve his community. From diagnosing complex system problems to mastering the latest equipment technologies, Micah committed to becoming genuinely skilled at his trade—not just getting by, but doing it right.
With contractor's license in hand, Micah launched Family Heating and Air in 2020. What started as a way to support his family became something bigger: a company built on faith-driven values and integrity. Kayla joined the effort, and together they began serving Papillion-area homeowners with honest estimates, transparent pricing, and quality installation and repair work that customers could trust.
As demand grew, Micah and Kayla recognized they were building something that deserved to reflect their full vision: faith-driven, husband-and-wife operated, and committed to excellence. The company needed a name that captured the personality and values they brought to every job. Family Heating and Air evolved into BreezeTech Heating and Cooling—keeping the Breeze in the Perfect Degrees, as the saying goes.
Today, BreezeTech is the HVAC contractor Papillion families call for repair, maintenance, and installation. We service all major makes and models. We're a Tempstar Elite Dealer, which means we're certified and trained on Tempstar equipment—but we're equally skilled diagnosing and repairing air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and mini-splits from any manufacturer. One-brand loyalty would limit the honest advice we give.
Emergency service is available upon request. Our regular hours are Monday–Friday 8 AM–5 PM and Saturday 8 AM–12 PM. If you're facing an HVAC emergency outside those times, reach out to us and we'll help you find a solution.
We use upfront, flat-rate pricing so there are no surprise charges. During every service call, we explain what we found, what we recommend, and what it will cost—and we never pressure you into decisions you're not ready to make.
Installation is one of our core services. We can walk you through equipment options, explain financing options (with approved credit; ask us for details), check you for available rebates, and get the job done right. Many customers pair a new installation with our Breeze Protection Plan to keep the system running smoothly for years.

Tune-up length depends on your system and what we find. We'll inspect your equipment, clean key components, test performance, and walk you through what we found. We'll let you know the timeline when we schedule your appointment.
